Our Design and Hosting Answers.

The basics: You have to have a registered domain and you have to have a web host. These are not the same thing. Many register names like www.mycompany.com at GoDaddy or Network Solutions. Gallium O can register your name, and we can host it. Hosting is the web server where your pages are located. Look at our hosting packages.

What should you do to get started? Before getting a site designed, visit competitor sites. This will give you a good idea of what information should be put on the website. Buy a book on your good web design principles. Join users group such as those that can be found at Yahoo groups. Send us an email and we'll be glad to help.

How long does it take before my site is designed? It depends upon you. If a client knows what they want, the process can be as short as a few days. The more homework that the client does before the start of the process, the more efficient the process will be.

We can design applications or site for other web hosting firms. However, this increases the deployment time because each application or site must be regression tested before final release. Additional fees will be added to all products not deployed on Gallium O's hosting platform.

Need to make a few changes to my web site: We can provide maintenance to your site. Once your site has been built, we can make changes for you. We have hourly rates as well as packages. If you wish modifications, such as a different main image or different colors, please contact us for information and pricing.

About Images: All user supplied images are the property of the client. Custom images remain the property of Gallium O unless the client wishes to buy exclusive rights to the images.
