Does your web site offer polls or tests?  If it does what do you do with the results, post them.  Unless the question so poignant and thought provoking that it generates buzz and community discussions, you should avoid them.

If however you use the polls or tests, to improve service and product offerings, then the poll is a good tool.

At Gallium we stress the value of the relationship. A poll just to have a poll is not a good use of a tool.  Make everything on your website deepen the level of conversation.

Did you know? 43% 0f all American use the Internet as a key tool before making an investment or buying decision.

A poll is just one part of your web presence.  Learn more about extending your web presence:

The Best Use of Polls

At Gallium O,  a web strategy is more than just a website. We help you develop a comprehensive strategy that helps our customers effectively communicate (look, leap and link) to internet users (potential customers, vendors, partners, etc.).

Does your poll:

Do you allow users to add or explain their response?
Do you blog on the results?
Do you send the results in newsletters?
Do you make changes based on the result?
Do you offer a way for the web visitor to forward the poll to others?
Does it take a long time to see results?
Do the polls relate to your products?
Do invite customers or visitors to suggest polls?
Do you solicit for feedback people responding to polls?
